Common questions
Do I have to talk to a clinician?
Usually no. Most prescriptions are reviewed asynchronously from the medical intake form. A few states require a short clinician call. Testosterone (TRT) always requires a phone call (controlled substance).
Do I need labs first?
Generally no, except for testosterone (requires a recent blood test). Labs are recommended for most other products and give you data to coach with.
What if a clinician declines to prescribe?
The client is refunded for the medication cost. The clinician explains why and suggests alternatives if there are any.
Can clients use HSA/FSA?
Yes, clients can use their HSA or FSA card at checkout.
How do refills work?
Refills are automatically shipped and charged every 4 weeks. This avoids missed doses that can impact the efficacy of the protocol. Clients can cancel any time through their portal.
